So I made the mistake of coming on Facebook, and ALL I see
are status' about people being afraid to take their children to school....
Really? Where is your faith? Saying you’re scared to take your kid to school is
saying a lot. Your saying 1.) you don't trust God 2.) you’re afraid of the
devil.
The world has made too many excuses for the devils
work," oh he was suffering from depression, OCD, Aspergers disease."
You need to call it what it is. That was the devil! That was demonic, so
Christians what are we living in fear because the devil showed his face?
Because he made a major move in the spiritual war?? This is NOT the time for us
to be afraid; this is the time to fight back!! This is when we put on the FULL
armor of God, this is when we let prayer and faith be our weapon, this is not
the time to hide! Sit back and be scared NO! God needs soldiers that are ready
to fight the good fight, because if you think this is over your sadly mistaken.
Now I know a lot of you aren’t going to agree. Which is
fine, what I’m not going to do is argue. Yes it’s absolutely horrible that
those children were killed yes it is. I have a young child and a lot of young cousins;
I could NEVER imagine what that could be like. Rev. Jesse Jackson told us there’s
power in the blood of the innocent. I believe that. Look how they did our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. He was an innocent man and they nailed him to the
cross, but it was all a part of God’s plan. Jesus died and that was awful and
cruel, but aren’t you glad? Not only did he rise up 3 days later, the blood he
shed saved us!! Jesus was born to a virgin just so he could teach his people,
heal his people, then die and raise 3 days later for our sins. That was ALL a
part of God’s plan. Jesus HAD to die, just to save us. Do you not see how
powerful that is? All that had to happen because it was God’s plan. What if
Mary wasn’t a virgin? We would be questioning whether or not that was Josephs
baby right? RIGHT! So why is this any different? Well because we already have a
savior we already have the blood of Jesus covering us, but why is it so hard
for us to go along with God’s plan when things aren’t happy, sunshine and
rainbows? Why do we become fearful when something awful happens? We say we
trust God, so why are you afraid? God didn’t give us the spirit of fear, 2Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear ;but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.- So cast
down that fear right now because that is not of God! –Psalm16:8 says I have set The Lord always before me: because
he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.- To me that says no matter
what it looks like, no matter what I think it is, The Lord is before me,
meaning his will before mine, meaning whatever he wants to happen comes before
whatever I THINK should happen. Why? Because he is at my right hand and I will
not be moved. I will not be moved when the enemy comes in like a flood. I will
not be moved!!
Nothing happens on this earth without God’s permission. The
devil had to go to God and get permission to do this. It seems horrific but you
have see the love in this. Those children are innocent, they are in heaven
okay, they are better off than we are okay. Imagine if God allowed the devil to
go to a high school, or a college campus or a business. Those people may not
have been able to make it into heaven. Some of those people would’ve gone to
hell. Please don’t miss the beauty in that. God is giving us a chance to get
right!!! God is giving us a chance to spread his gospel; God is giving us a
chance to trust him! That boy could’ve EASILY shot up a bunch of lost souls
that were already on their way to hell! He’s showing us that yes the devil is
busy but we need to be 10X’s busier! We need to be spreading the TRUE Gospel,
not this sugarcoated, watered down fake stuff. We need to put away our children’s
bibles and pull out our adult bibles. Stop sitting in on children’s church and
go to the main sanctuary! The word of God isn’t for us to be comfortable. It
isn’t to make our flesh feel comfortable; it isn’t to make our emotions
comfortable. When we we’re little we used to think the devil was this red
monster with horns that jumps out to scare us. We had no idea that he was out
here trying to get souls, we just thought he was trying to scare us. I bet that
made you uncomfortable didn’t it? Imagine if you were still as grown as you are
thinking the devil just wanted to jump out and scare you? You’d be so mistaken.
The devil is real and he’s trying to gain souls. Now if you’re saved he can’t
touch your soul. He can mess with you if God allows, but he can’t touch your
soul.
What happened in Connecticut was horrible, but we can’t
change what happen to those children. They are already with our heavenly father,
but what we can do is get ready for Jesus. What we can do is introduce people
to Jesus, what we can do is put on the FULL armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18 –Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord,
and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore having
you loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
and your feet shod with the preparation of gospel peace; above all, taking the
shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of
the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit which
is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints.-
