Since being natural and seeing all the women on YouTube vlogging about their hair journey, I was like "hey I've been natural for a while. I've done this thing twice, I know how to maintain and manage my hair fairly well, I can share my journey". So I got a YouTube channel (NaturallyDes), I got a YouTube account, thinking I'm gonna share hair care tips, I'm gonna do tutorials,answer questions etc. For the record I love hair! I love natural hair I love talking about it, I love helping people learn about it, I love all things natural hair, but I wasn't and still haven't felt me sharing about would hair would be beneficial. Yes my sharing tips and tricks may be beneficial to those willing and wanting to learn about their hair, but I believe I'm called to something bigger than just hair.
I'm more concerned about your salvation, your walk in Christ. I'm more concerned about encouraging you when the devil try's to put his foot on your neck, trick you into believing what he says, that's what concerns me more.
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
That tells me as plain as day that the things I do should glorify Christ. To me bragging about the length of my hair, or the thickness and waving it around all on camera TO ME just doesnt scream glorifying Christ. TO ME it seems like I would be glorifying myself. I didnt create my hair, the only thing Im doing is taking care of it.
This is not to down, or bash any of the natural hair guru's or anyone making fashion and makeup tutorials.
What peole have to realize is being a Christian is having a PERSONAL relationship with Christ. What the holy spirit convicts me for isnt going to be the same thing he convicts you for. It's a relationship yes we have the commandments and things we must abide by as Children of God
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments), but something like this is'nt going agaisnt the commandments. Its just me, I feel the things I do should glorify God's name and help build his kingdom. I've rather make video's on teaching about Jesus, helping encourage other's along this Walk with Christ, than solely focus on outward appearance. My concern is whats going on inside spiritually. I know I can have separate channels,pages and etc for those things, but right now that's not what Im worried about. I mean if people have questions of course I will answer and help in anyway I can, but to dedicate SO much time and effort on that its just not in me. I love Jesus more than hair, I love you more than hair. I wanna help build you up and build up God's kingdom. That's my job. I was created to praise, worship, and spread the gospel, That's what I will do.
